Our Process
DREAM
The first step in this phase is to have you complete a detailed design questionnaire and schedule a complimentary 15 minute discovery phone call in order to discuss the project you have in mind and determine if we are a good fit for each other. From there, we will schedule an initial 2 hour consultation for a flat fee of $250. We would like to get to know you, hear your ideas, see any photos you may have collected and talk about the budget. If it's possible to meet at the job site, we would like to take photos and measurements at this time.
DESIGN
After the initial consultation, we will email you a Design Fee estimate. If you decide to proceed, we'll enter into the next phase and get to work on your custom design plan. We may utilize computer aided drafting, mood boards, and drawings in order to help you visualize the layout and design. We'll work with you on selecting materials such as cabinets, flooring, countertops, wall finishes, and window coverings.
PLAN
At this point in the process, we will make sure all final materials and plans are ready to implement and set up an appointment to review the details with you. We will also go over the project budget and schedule so you will know just what to expect.
CONTRACT
Now that your design is complete, we will put together a contract for the construction portion of your project and collect your down payment. The state of Washington also requires all customers with projects over $2000 in value to sign a disclosure statement regarding our license and bond information.
BUILD
Now it's time to see your project come to life! We will handle all of the scheduling, ordering of materials, managing subcontractors, coordinating permits and inspections. Our goal during this phase is to see that the work is on target, on time, and on budget.
COMPLETE
The finishing touches are now in place. It's time to do a final walk-through. With your permission we would like to take photos. Your new space is ready to enjoy!
